Jason, Movie to Movement

Jason Scott Jones

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER OF H.E.R.O. & MOVIE TO MOVEMENT

Jason Jones is a film producer, author, activist, popular podcast host, and dedicated human rights worker. He is the president of the Human-Rights Education and Relief Organization (H.E.R.O.), known for its two impactful programs: The Vulnerable People Project and Movie to Movement. Through these initiatives, Jones has become a leading voice in defending the most vulnerable across the globe, from the unborn to persecuted minorities in war zones.

Film Producer and Advocate

Jones made his mark in the film industry in 2006 as the Executive Producer of the film “Bella”, which received widespread acclaim and won several prestigious awards, including the People’s Choice Award at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival. This success propelled him into the world of filmmaking, where he used cinema as a tool to raise awareness on crucial social issues.

In 2009, Jones served as an Associate Producer for the powerful film “The Stoning of Soraya M.”, a harrowing portrayal of injustice that went on to win the NAACP Image Award and the Los Angeles Film Festival Award. That same year, he produced the pro-life short film “Crescendo”, partnering with Eduardo Verastegui and Pattie Mallette (the mother of Justin Bieber). This award-winning film raised over $6 million in support of pregnancy centers and women’s shelters, cementing Jones’ reputation as an advocate for life.

Human Rights Work

Jones’ work as a human rights activist extends far beyond film. In 2021, after the chaotic U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan, he launched the Vulnerable People Project’s Hope for Afghanistan program, initially to help rescue a friend’s mother trapped in the country. The program quickly grew, and in the past two years, it has evacuated hundreds of religious minorities and former Afghan allies, provided safe houses, and worked on resettling vulnerable Afghans in safer locations.

Under his leadership, VPP has delivered over 3 million meals to families in need across Afghanistan, opened a women’s health clinic, drilled wells to provide potable water to villages, and provided security for schools to ensure children can learn safely. Through the Hope for Afghanistan program, Jason has shown how personal connections and a deep sense of responsibility can lead to real, life-saving action.

Jones’ mission is clear and unwavering: to stand between the violent and the vulnerable. His humanitarian work spans multiple continents, reaching out to protect the most at-risk, whether they be Christians in Nigeria, civilians in Ukraine, or our former allies in Afghanistan.

Author and Podcast Host

In addition to his humanitarian efforts, Jason is also a prolific writer and speaker. His passion for defending life has been recognized in Legacy of Life, a book that honors fifty of the most influential pro-life leaders of the past fifty years, where Jason is featured as a key contributor.

Jason Jones is a senior contributor to The Stream and the host of the Jason Jones Show. He is also the author of three books: The Race to Save Our Century, The World is on Fire and his most recent, The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset, released in April 2024. His latest film, Divided Hearts of America, is now available on Amazon Prime.

Jason was the featured speaker at the Life, Dignity, and Victory Summit in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Jason’s latest book, “The Great Campaign Against the Great Reset,” is a powerful call to action against the growing threats of global overreach and the erosion of individual rights. In it, he continues his life’s work of rallying people to stand for truth and justice in the face of unprecedented global challenges.

On his popular podcast, The Jason Jones Show, he engages in thoughtful conversations on topics ranging from human rights to cultural shifts, reaching a wide audience with his message of defending the vulnerable.

Conclusion

Jason Jones’ life and career reflect a unique blend of artistic creativity and tireless advocacy for the most vulnerable. Whether through his films, books, or humanitarian projects, he continues to make a significant impact on the world stage, driven by a mission to stand for those who cannot stand for themselves. As both a visionary and a man of action, Jason’s work in film, human rights, and advocacy continues to shape a better future for all.
